The Glendambo Outback four by four (4x4) Challenge will be held in Glendambo, South Australia.
There is ample car parking available and the public toilets are within walking distance to the course and field day stalls.
An event such as this is unique for this Region as it is the only type of Four Wheel Drive (4WD) event of this kind.
The website is now up and running which also shows alternative routes on which to travel to the 4x4 event other than the traditional trip up the Stuart Highway and gives details of the event. Interested 4WD enthusiasts only need to visit the website and can view the three suggested alternative routes to the event. The ''Orange'' route guides the tourist to Glendambo via Mount Ive Station and the Gawler Ranges, the ''Green'' route guides the tourist to Glendambo via Marree and the ''Blue'' route guides the tourist to Glendambo via the Gawler Ranges, Streaky Bay, Port Lincoln and the Seafood Trail. All routes have a map, show the distance to travel and approximate time it will take to drive. The website also detail the types of events that will be held and gives any interested parties the opportunity to download an entry form or site if they wish to participate either in the event itself or as a stall holder, it also gives details regarding available facilities in the town itself ie: accommodation available, fuel, food etc
