The Murraylands Music Festival is a community based festival proudly showcasing the district The festival is held in Tailem Bend, a pleasant one hour drive from Adelaide along the South Eastern freeway. Featuring Australia’s best professional artists as well as a talent quest that is run in conjunction with the South Australia Council for Country Music. There will be entrants from all around South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. Talent quest winners are invited to the champion of champions competition held in Adelaide in July of each year. An integral part of the talent competition features emerging artist. Over the last two years this festival has been a catalyst for a number of young performers who have gone on to win state and national awards as well as performing with Australia identities.
