The Strathalbyn Celtic Folk and Friendly Festival with your support will fill the central park location on the Angas River and various satellite venues throughout the town entertainment and activities, which are best suited to the heritage and current day position of Strathalbyn as prime heritage, antiques, collectables and tourism destination.
Market stalls and activities culminating on the park aim to feature a Celtic Folk and Friendly Market, Food and Fare, with anticipation that visitors will gather on the lawns in their thousands to enjoy the non stop entertainment with could include dancers and musicians performing different styles of Celtic and Folk performance on a stage, that has for its backdrop the beautiful scenic gardens of the Soldiers Memorial Park on the Angas River, silhouettes by heritage and interesting historic and heritage buildings.
