Each Adelaide Fringe has a central theme, and in 2006 this is “Re:Generation,” exploring sustainability — environmental, economic and community.
Re:Generation was part of the design brief for the Adelaide Fringe 2006 poster competition. The winning design cleverly refers to Fringes past, as well as evoking ideas of freedom, new life and creative beauty. Enjoy this wonderful image... keep it close to your heart by buying a t-shirt!
Re:Generation also speaks of a return to origins or roots. We aim to be faithful to the Fringe’s mission since 1970, which is to produce an open-access arts event that is inexpensive, encouraging, stimulating and welcoming for artists and audiences alike.
